A

Algorithm

The algorithm is a succession of instructions (suite) and actions (operations), intended to solve a problem or a set of problems.

Algorithmic

Algorithmics includes everything that allows the development of an algorithm, the analyses, methodologies and techniques used for this matter.

(Mobile) App.

A mobile application is application software designed primarily for Smartphones (including those from Apple and Android) and tablets. But not only... These applications have their own platforms, or are installed locally via loading platforms, specific to each manufacturer like the Apple Store for Apple.

(Web) App.

A Web App. or Web application is in fact a cross-platform application, with which it is possible to interact via an Internet browser. It does not require a local installation.

C

Compiler

A compiler is a program that transforms computer code (easier to understand by humans) into a series of commands to be executed by the machine in its own language (also called target language, machine language or system language ).

CMD

Cmd (command prompt) is software for executing DOS (Windows/OS) OS/2 commands. The interface is quite characteristic, black screen with a white command prompt.

E

E-Commerce

An E-Commerce or online store is the set of platforms, technologies, work environments and payment terminals, allowing the sale of goods and services, on a website or a mobile application.

Framework

A framework, also called a framework, brings together a set of functional and software libraries, allowing the balanced and controlled realization of a programming project.

Programming language

Similar to a classical language, the programming language is, through a nomenclature accepted by all and largely inspired by mathematics, the concrete transposition of equations generating computer programs.

Portability

The portability of a program (and by extension, the portability of the language used to design it) is all that relates to its adaptability, depending on the software environment and the power of the machine (technical environment ), on which it is executed.

SSH

Secure Shell (SSH) is a secure communication protocol (as well as software), requiring an exchange of encryption keys at the start of the connection.

Velocity (SCRUM)

During a sprint, velocity is an essential criterion for determining the ability to withstand pressure, endurance and overall efficiency of a team, as part of completing a task.
